Dan Li is the Co-Founder and Executive Chef of the hospitality group DOD Group, which is firmly anchored by the flagship Yaya’s Pasta Bar.
Li’s unique approach to gastronomy is founded on his early career in architecture. He successfully transferred the systemic rigor, creative precision, and execution capability developed in commercial design into the culinary arts, establishing a scalable operational framework critical for the group’s continued expansion.
As Executive Chef, Li directs the culinary identity and product innovation across all concepts. Drawing inspiration from his Xinjiang heritage, living experience in the US, and extensive travel across Europe, his cuisine is built on a dialogue between Northwestern and Western Chinese ingredients and flavors and Italian tradition.
