Jason Liu
Ling Long
Born in Taipei, he began his culinary training at 14, working at Paris 1930 and Bistro 3—experiences that gave him mastery of Western techniques while deepening his passion for Chinese gastronomy.
After a year-long journey through China’s culinary traditions, he opened LING LONG Beijing in 2020, followed by LING LONG Shanghai on the Bund in 2023.
Today, Jason’s cooking bridges East and West with precision knife work and reverence for local ingredients. His accolades include The Best Chef Award’s highest distinction «THE BEST» and Creativity Award (2025), Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants No. 27, two Black Diamond stars, and a Michelin star. He is a Forbes China F&B Leader, World Economic Forum Young Global Leader.
