Lam King Chung (Lin Jinsong)
Seventh Son
Chef Lam King Chung began his career at Hong Kong’s legendary Fook Lam Moon in the 1990s. In 2004, he moved to Shanghai as Executive Sous Chef, and in 2014 became Executive Chef of Seventh Son Restaurant, a role he continues today.
Under his leadership, Seventh Son has earned Michelin One Star annually from 2017 to 2025, and Black Pearl One Diamond across multiple years (2018, 2019–2020, 2021–2023, 2026), with a peak of Two Diamonds in 2019 and 2020.
Chef Lam is known for his quiet dedication and unwavering commitment to quality, upholding the restaurant’s century‑old philosophy of authentic ingredients and honest execution.
