Alexis Tonard
Chef Alexis Tonard is the Executive Chef of Mr & Mrs Bund by Paul Pairet in Shanghai, one of the city's most iconic dining destinations. His culinary journey began in France at Ferrandi before taking him to New York, where he refined his craft alongside legendary chefs including Jean-Pierre Biffi, Daniel Boulud, Gray Kunz, Alain Dutournier, and Dominique Bouchet—experiences that shaped his technical precision and leadership philosophy rooted in rigor and accountability.
Prior to Shanghai, he served as Executive Chef Asia Area for Potel & Chabot Paris, directing large-scale luxury catering across the region. Since 2020, he has worked closely with three-Michelin-star chef Paul Pairet, contributing to menu development and strategic direction across restaurants in Shanghai, Paris, and Singapore.
