A native of Puning, Chaozhou, Chef Chen Shaoxiong grew up in his family’s restaurant, shaping his over‑thirty‑year culinary journey. He began his career in 1998 and joined the founding team of Amazing Chinese Cuisine in 2015.
As founding executive chef, he led the restaurant to a Michelin star soon after the Shanghai guide’s debut, along with Three Diamonds in the Black Pearl Guide. His cooking balances Chaozhou tradition with thoughtful innovation, defined by exacting ingredient selection and refined execution.
Over a decade with the brand, Chef Chen has shaped Amazing Chinese Cuisine’s signature style: contemporary Chaozhou fare that bridges heritage and creativity.
