Shunojo Iyoda

Chef Shunojo Iyoda began his career in the San Francisco Bay Area, working at Michelin Bib Gourmand spots including Orenchi Ramen and Sumika Japanese Charcoal Grill. He later trained in Italy at Ristorante Duomo, Ciccio Sultano’s two‑Michelin‑starred restaurant, ranked No. 7 among Italy’s Top 50.
In Shanghai, he served as Head Chef at Kaisha and at Sober Company, recognized among Asia’s and the World’s 50 Best Bars. He now leads the kitchen at Yone, the Japanese fusion restaurant at The EDITION Shanghai.
Shunojo holds certifications as a Certified Sommelier (Court of Master Sommeliers) and Sake Level 3 (WSET). He defines his style as “fusion”—blending technique, culture, and hospitality across four countries.
