Tom Ryu
P.I.E Group (NABI, WULI)
Born in Korea, Chef Tom’s culinary foundation was shaped by his family’s F&B business and traditional Korean methods. He opened his first restaurant at 24 in Cheongju before moving to China in 2016.
In Shanghai, he made his mark as chef-owner of the acclaimed JEJU SAGYE before founding P.I.E Group, home to NABI and WULI—two restaurants redefining Korean fine dining in China. At NABI, he presents immersive, seasonally-driven tasting menus exploring Korean regional cuisine.
Beyond his restaurants, Tom serves as Culinary Curator and Ambassador for GENESIS China, bringing Korean culinary vision to the luxury brand's flagship experiences.
