Born in Kumamoto, Kyushu, Chef Yuki Yamano established his first restaurant in Tokyo at age 23. His career then took him across Europe, where he held key positions at multiple Michelin‑starred establishments, deepening his expertise at the intersection of Japanese cuisine and European gastronomy.
In November 2022, he opened La Scène Ronde in Shanghai, a bespoke French restaurant where he intertwines Japanese culinary philosophy with European technique. Using premium local ingredients, he creates dishes celebrated for balance and refinement—with a particular mastery of sauces that leaves a lasting impression.
