Restaurant 8½ Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA
Since 2012, 8½ Otto e Mezzo BOMBANA has been a cornerstone of Italian fine dining in Shanghai, holding two Michelin stars and a GreatList Guide award. It's the Shanghai sibling of Chef Umberto Bombana’s three-Michelin-starred Hong Kong flagship.
Executive Chef Nicoló Rotella, a Turin native trained in Michelin-starred Italian kitchens, leads with honest cooking and pristine ingredients. Signature dishes: New Zealand scampi with Thai basil bisque, raviolo with Sicilian almond and Oscietra caviar, and pigeon with cherry and cinnamon.
Service is led by Ervin Ong, Michelin Guide Shanghai Sommelier of the Year 2024. Together, they define the restaurant's polished, attentive style.
